Little Athletics Centre

Algester Little Athletics Club leases Col Bennet Park from the Brisbane City Council. We are responsible for paying the rates, lease costs, utilities and all fees associated with the ongoing maintenance and running of the grounds.  To assist with the considerable cost of maintaining the facility, we do occasionally take bookings from other sporting, community and social groups for use of the field.  If you wish to use the grounds, please fill in the form and email it to secretaryalac@gmail.com

 

Any group / commercial or organised use of the grounds (for example, by personal trainers, soccer / rugby / touch football teams, or other sporting groups) requires the prior consent of both Algester Little Athletics and Council.  

 

We do not charge for individual recreational use. However, anyone using Col Bennett Park does so at their own risk and must make way for Algester Little Athletics events, coaching and activities and third-party bookings at all times.

 

We ask that people using the grounds (other than for running) please stay off the track area and out of the long jump pits in order to minimise damage.  Football / soccer boots are not permitted on the athletics track at any time in order to avoid damage.

Our grounds are not a dog park.  Please keep your pets on a leash at all times if you are passing through.
